The IAEA's four regional nuclear co-operative frameworks are RCA (for East Asia and the Pacific), AFRA (for Africa), ARCAL (for Latin America and the Caribbean) and ARASIA (Arabic Countries in the Middle East). The four frameworks are operated by Agreements that participating IAEA Member States ratified and joined. The four Agreements have been holding a sort of Forum annually at IAEA Headquarters in Vienna in conjucntion with the IAEA General Conference. The main objective of the Form is to exchange information and experience amongst the four Agreements.

At this year's Forum chaired by RCA, it was proposed that from the next meeting, the Forum should focus on certain themes, e.g. how to promote partnerships, how to create additional fund sources, how to develop success stories, how to publicize the achievements, and so on.
