Application Guide
Implemented in cooperation with the University of Science and Technology(UST), the RCA/UST Doctoral Degree or Integrated/Master's Degree Couirse aims to contribute to preserving and enhancing the nuclear technology capacities of the RCA region by training students from the RCA Government Parties.
UST is a world-class science and technology graduate school jointly established by the Government-Funded Research Institutes (GFRIs) in Korea in 2004 to nurture future leaders in the fields of science and technology. Currently 35 GFRIs provide support functioning as Campus and it’s regarded as a successful model of HRD center, leveraging industry-academia-research institute cooperation.
Among others, this Programme cooperates with two Campuses of the School of Nuclear Science and Technology, specifically KAERI, KIRAMS, and its majors include Radiation Life Science, Nuclear and Radiation Safety, Radiochemistry, Nuclear System Engineering and Radiological & Medico-Oncological Sciences.
Features and benefits for students include participation in national R&D projects to develop competence in research management, use of high-tech research facilities and infrastructure, opportunity to network with experts in the nuclear field on defined tasks, and hands-on experience at Korean institutes.
It's now open for application for the 2024 Spring Semester of the course.
The applicants interested in this degree course are requested to send all the necessary documents, including a letter of recommendation from the respective National RCA Representative, to the UST by 1 November 2023. Please refer to the enclosed guideline for detailed information.
