Dr Carlito R Aleta (former IAEA/RCA Coordinator), as the special advisor to the Director of RCARO, will visit various regional and international development organizations in the region to survey mutual interests between RCA and those organizations and to identify possible partnerships.

As an initial step towards promoting better RCA partnerships, RCARO undertook to survey projects of other development organizations in the region and to identify mutual interests. In this connection, RCARO requested Dr C R Aleta to visit such development organizations and to come out with notions of potential RCA partners.

Dr Aleta will visit UNEP Regional Office, UNIDO Regional Office, FAO Regional Office, UNESCO Regional Office, UNICEF Asia and Pacific Regional Office, ILO Regional Office and Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand; ASEAN and BAPETEN in Indonesia; and ADB, WHO Regional Office, IRRI (International Rice Research Institute) in the Philippines. Dr Aleta will also meet with RCA stakeholders of those countries.
