A training course on Nuclear Power Policy, Planning and Project Management will be held from 13 Oct. - 2 Nov. 2005 at INTEC (Int'l Nuclear Training and Education Center) in Daejeon, Korea, jointly organized by IAEA and KAERI. The event is funded by KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency).

The training course aims at providing necessary information on the nuclear option to the middle level managers of technical professionals who support the nation's energy policy making of those countries with possible and potential introduction of nuclear power in their energy supply scenario.

The training course will cover not only technical aspects to be considered when introducing nuclear power programme but also international climate on energy matters as well as strategies for nuclear public information. RCARO will make a presentation on the regional cooperation at the event. From RCA Member States, BGD, CPR, INS, MYA, PAK, PHI and THA will participate in the training course.
